Applications are invited for two Research at the frontiers of Practice PhD studentships in the School of Science and Technology. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on one of the several topics offered by the School.

Eligibility and requirements
The candidate should have an upper second-class BSc/BEng/MEng (or equivalent, or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics. They should demonstrate aptitude for original research.
Scholarship
Additional income: Each student can also earn around £2.200/year on an average (max. is around £4.300/year) through a teaching assistantship.
The application and selection process are run through the School you apply to and involves senior academic staff from the relevant disciplines.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in one or more of the disciplines related to the topics proposed above. Preference may be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in these areas, such as a strong academic record.
