Doctoral studentships in Research at the Frontier of Practice

City St George’s, University of London

City St George’s, University of London is offering 15 doctoral studentships starting in October 2025 as part of an ongoing commitment to recruit 45 outstanding researchers to our six Schools by 2025.

The studentships comprise a stipend that tracks the UKRI rate (currently £21,237 pa) and tuition fees.  Successful applicants will also have access to additional resources provided by their School.

Funding

  • Funding is available for UK, EU and international students undertaking full-time or part-time study
  • Full-time students will receive a maintenance grant currently of £21,237 per annum that will rise in line with UKRI stipends. Tuition fees are also paid
  • In addition to resources within the Schools, project/consumable costs of £1,500 are provided.

Applications and deadline

The application and selection process is run through the School applied to and involves senior academic staff from the relevant disciplines.
