A part-time Research Associate is needed to join an EU project research team.
FTE: 0.3 FTE
Term: Fixed to 30 June 2026
A part-time Research Associate is needed to join an existing research team assisting the delivery of an EU project to develop next generation, sustainable, commercially attractive, and long-distance transportation of Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) for commercial vessels. Candidates must have a PhD in engineering, are expected to be from the discipline of naval architecture, marine engineering or an equivalent related discipline, preferably with a background and some experience in Life Cycle Analysis, risk and safety assessment, and the capabilities of conducting individual research work, result dissemination and research proposals preparation. You should have good skills in communication, and strong skills in project management and time management. You are also expected to contribute to some teaching activities on relevant subjects.
