We have expanded our Social Hub café and basement bar facilities at Girton College with an exciting new outdoor terrace. We are looking for a personable and conscientious Deputy Manager to work closely with the Social Hub Manager to help develop this new business area. The café/bar serves students, Fellows and staff, as well as external guests of the College and VIPs, including at a range of conferences, concerts and other functions supported by our team throughout the year.

You will have solid experience working as a team leader in a café/bar environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement, and you will be confident to take full responsibility for managing busy daytime and evening shifts whilst supervising a small team. Perhaps you are ready to take your first step into a hospitality management role in the fabulous surroundings of a Cambridge College, or maybe you’d like to focus on helping to develop and market The Hub experience.
