Location: South Kensington Campus, where daily experimental work will take place.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to ground-breaking research that has the potential to revolutionize the energy industry. The work will use laboratory experiments to generate data to provide confidence in predictions of natural hydrogen sites and volumes.

What you would be doing:

As part of the project you will:

  • Conduct carefully controlled experiments to recreate the hydrogen-generation process in the laboratory.
  • Generate and analyze data using state-of-the-art equipment in the Imperial College Organic Geochemistry Laboratories.
  • Present research findings to academic and industrial colleagues.
  • Produce detailed reports and submit publications to refereed journals.
