The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is a world-leading institution dedicated to improving health through research, education, and capacity building in tropical medicine and global health. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join our internationally renowned International Public Health Department.
The successful candidate will work on the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded Urban SHADE (Strengthening Health Access and Delivery for Extreme weather) project which aims to contribute towards the development of climate change-resilient communities and health systems for urban marginalised people.
This role is to cover maternity leave for one year and will involve leading the development, conduct, analysis and dissemination of qualitative, quantitative and participatory research, in collaboration with partners on the NIHR-funded Urban SHADE project and the IDRC CLARE-funded Urban TRACS: Transformative Research for Adaptation to Climate change in informal Settlements project across Kenya, Sierra Leone and India.
