An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Computer Science at the School of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Electronics. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced candidate to join our busy team. We expect the post holders to work collaboratively with other team members to lead and contribute to the academic, scholarly and professional activities through the delivery and development of taught modules and research initiatives.
Our overarching research themes are: Artificial intelligence, Cyber Security, Computer Networks, and Computational Modelling.
We seek strong candidates whose research aligns with one or more of these themes and applicants who can contribute to expanding our expertise into other areas. Eligible candidates should have an excellent track record or demonstrable potential for innovative research and effective teaching.
What you will be doing:
We expect the post holders to make a significant contribution to research and scholarship, to publish and communicate your work at research meetings and conferences and to attract funding to support and develop these activities.
The post holders should also have a strong commitment to the development of teaching and the curriculum in the above areas. The post holders will be expected to enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary teaching environment and be capable of carrying out high quality work with a diverse range of students.
