This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you customer focussed and keen to support services to world class researchers? Do you have strong communication and organisational skills, with exemplary accuracy and attention to detail?
The University of Leeds is one of the top 75 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
This role is based in Library Research Services. We offer a range of services for postgraduate researchers and staff including open research, research visibility, research analytics and finding and managing information. Your focus will be providing high quality, proactive administrative support to our services and excellent customer service to our research community.
You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for customers, providing an enquiry triage service and support for online and face to face teaching sessions and events. You will administer our busy and successful researcher skills development programme and support our meeting and teaching spaces. In addition to supporting a wide range of our section's services, for example by processing data related to University of Leeds research outputs, you will help promote our services. As well as bringing excellent and adaptable communication skills, you will be a strong team player, able to work co-operatively and collaboratively with colleagues.
