Cleaner Porter (Morning)

About the role

We are looking for two part-time Cleaner-Porters (25 and 20 hours) to join our supportive and friendly Campus Services team.

The average day can be varied, but a typical day could include: 

• Keeping your designated areas clean and tidy 
• Removal, repositioning and setting up furniture 
• Emptying general waste and recycling bins 
• Directing visitors and dealing with general enquiries 
• Assisting with setting up conference rooms 
• Assisting with setting up events

This is a crucial role at the University of Bath, and we are looking for a friendly and motivated person, happy to work not only as part of a team but also on their own. You will be expected to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness in order to maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment and should have a thorough and methodical attitude to work. Please note, this role involves lifting and carrying. 
 
 We are open to considering a variety of flexible work options, but for our 25-hour role, the typical role hours are 5 am—10 am, and for the 20-hour job, it's 5 am-9 am. Both jobs cover Monday through Friday, with weekend work on alternative weeks.
