About the Role
Do you want to join our diverse community of talented people? Can you contribute to our innovative and collaborative culture in an academic library? Would you like to work for one of the UK’s most successful universities? This is a unique opportunity to join the Library at a pivotal moment as we embark on the transformation of our library services to support world class learning, teaching and research.
This role is based in Collections Acquisitions where the team is responsible for the efficient and effective provision of a range of services including electronic resource management, acquisitions of books and serials, document supply and reading list digitisation. Prospective candidates should have proven experience in at least one of these areas with a commitment to develop expertise in the other areas while in post. This post will be particularly focused on the management of e-resources so a good knowledge of the different types of library e-resources, as well as licensing and authentication used to access those resources would be particularly beneficial.
About You

You will be required to demonstrate excellent customer service, teamworking and problem-solving skills in the area(s) of serials and e-resource management/purchasing, reading list digitisation and/or document supply.
You will be skilled at effective team management and motivation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your workload and handle competing demands with minimum supervision.
