About the role
As part of a LEAP Digital Health Hub funded grant, this post will undertake research work within the Department of Computer Science to design, develop and validate an ear-based device ("earable") that is capable of measuring stress.
The successful candidate will join a team of scientists, engineers and industrial partners.
In this position, the researcher will take a leading role in the research and development, as well as coordinating with multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional teams.
There will be significant opportunities for you to develop your understanding of hardware and software, as well as the chance to work with patient groups directly to realise the potential impact.
As a member of Research Staff at the University of Bath, you will be encouraged to take up a minimum of 10 days professional development pro rata per year.
This is a fixed-term position, with an expected five month duration.
