The School of Health and Social Wellbeing at UWE Bristol offers a range of innovative programmes, including a HCPC-validated and CSP-accredited BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree, a BSc (Hons) Applied Physiotherapy Degree Apprenticeship, and postgraduate and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist with expertise in Cardio-respiratory Physiotherapy, particularly in Critical Care, to join our dynamic team. A strong understanding of cardio-respiratory anatomy, physiology, pathology, assessment and treatment techniques, as well as clinical reasoning, is essential.
In addition, we are looking for a research-driven individual to teach across a variety of research modules and supervise undergraduate student dissertations. Ideally, you’ll have experience conducting and engaging with research, which may include activities such as service evaluations, audits, or evidence-based practice initiatives. Prior experience in university-level teaching and/or practice-based education is required.
A Master’s degree would be an advantage; however applicants with evidence of study at post graduate level, university teaching and/or a research profile within Physiotherapy would be positively considered.

This post is based at our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre, with occasional opportunities for remote working.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
