The role
The Faculty of Engineering’s Technical Services seeks an enthusiastic and practically minded person to join our laboratory support team. Based in a research material testing facility, with a specific focus on composites, you will be responsible for setting-up test machines, providing training to students and academic staff, and undertaking day-to-day laboratory support activities.
Experience in operating light industrial / manufacturing equipment, or working with composites, would be advantageous but is not essential.
We welcome applications from everyone with an aptitude for practical, hands-on work, regardless of experience or educational background. No direct laboratory, or engineering experience, is required: Full training will be provided.
