About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher to play a leading role in PATHWAYS, a six-year research programme involving children and young people with complex mental and/or physical health needs. The post-holder will be a lead researcher in a large-scale multi-site research programme and will play a key role in implementing and undertaking the research across multiple sites in the UK. This is a six-year programme where the post-holder will be appointed at the beginning of the research and will have significant opportunity to shape its implementation and success.

This is a full-time post, 35 hours per week and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 36 months.

Essential criteria
* Please note that this is a PhD level role but candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting award of their PhDs will be considered. In these circumstances the appointment will be made at Grade 5, spine point 30 with the title of Research Assistant. Upon confirmation of the award of the PhD, the job title will become Research Associate and the salary will increase to Grade 6.
