Working Pattern: Full-time, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The AMRC Casting’s team are looking for an enthusiastic Ceramic Mould Operative to join the group, supporting the mould manufacturing activities. The position of Ceramic Mould Operative requires skills and motivation to manufacture ceramic investment moulds, maintain equipment, and control process parameters for quality assurance. You will also provide a supporting role to the Ceramic Mould Engineer and other manufacturing processes in the facility, to help ensure project tasks are completed. This will require you to be flexible in your approach to your work, taking instructions from the leads of each activity.
As a member of the wider AMRC Castings team, your responsibilities encompass operational and administrative processes, including Health & Safety documentation, quality system maintenance, and record keeping, meeting the group's requirements. Your contributions will drive the ongoing growth and reputation of the AMRC, generating highly impactful research.
You will support the activities within the foundry as demand requires. This position includes diverse activities in the casting process, so the individual must be self-motivated, take pride in their work, and pay attention to detail.
