Epsom College is a co-educational day and boarding school with approximately 1100 pupils aged 11-18. The College is located one mile from Epsom town, below Epsom Downs in heritage and modern buildings set in a beautiful tree-filled campus of some 72 acres. Originally founded by The Royal Medical Benevolent Foundation, today the College strives to develop the individual talents of every girl and boy.
Epsom College is seeking to appoint a Director of Digital and Information Systems, a newly created role to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in leading and transforming the information technology functions across the Epsom College. It is an exciting time at the College with the recent commencement of the 16th Head of Epsom College and he and the COO are now in a position to set and deliver a new and ambitious strategy for the College, building on its success and ensuring a modern operating and learning environment.
As a key member of the College’s Leadership Team, the Director of Digital and Information Systems will have strategic responsibility for information technology across the College.

You will have hands-on experience of leading a diverse IT team, ideally within an education setting and have the ability to meet the needs of both academic and operational teams. You will also have a track record of implementing and upgrading existing systems, as well as leading on digital strategy. You will be a conscientious and hard-working individual who enjoys collaborating with a wide range of activities but also wanting to make a difference.
You will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly organised with a flexible and adaptable style. You will embrace the Epsom College ethos and values in all aspects of the role.
