Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
We have two campuses in Leeds city centre; at Blenheim Walk, and the original Leeds Arts University building at Vernon Street.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our busy library working across our sites, which may include some evening and Saturday working. The role involves providing core and ancillary library services to students and staff spanning Further Education to Postgraduate level provision, including staffing two art materials shops housed in each library.
Candidates should be educated to degree level., have relevant experience in a library environment, computer skills in Microsoft 365, and evidence of excellent customer care skills. A library qualification together with an interest in the arts and previous experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.
