The School of Health & Wellbeing are pleased to invite applications for full-time posts from individuals committed to delivering excellence in clinical psychology training and mental health research. You will be based within the School of Health and Wellbeing, a vibrant multi-disciplinary research-intensive group at the University of Glasgow. Since February 2023 we have been housed in a brand new, state of the art research and teaching facility – the Clarice Pears Building – just off the Byres Road in the West End of Glasgow.
Candidates are asked to apply for either the Research and Teaching (R&T) or Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (LTS) career pathway (see job descriptions on our website for more detail). We especially welcome applications from candidates who can meaningfully contribute to increasing diversity and inclusion in the profession of clinical psychology and candidates from under-represented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
We welcome applications from candidates who hold a PhD, Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, or equivalent post-graduate qualification in psychology that confers eligibility for chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
A market supplement may be added for eligible candidates such as Clinical Psychologists moving from AfC pay scales in the NHS with appropriate experience.
