Richmond American University London is now seeking to appoint an Assistant Facilities Manager on a fixed term contract of six months to support the Head of Facilities in ensuring the smooth operation of our campus. This role is central to maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
As a key member of the Facilities Team, you will oversee front-of-house operations, coordinate maintenance and contractor services, and manage facilities-related tasks such as reception duties, room bookings, and emergency response. You will also play a pivotal role in maintaining the University's health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a facilities management role, with strong communication skills. You will excel at multitasking, solving problems proactively, and fostering collaboration. This is a hands-on position that requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and student-focused environment.
This role is not suitable for remote working. Candidates must be available to start immediately.
