As the Assistant Director for Financial Planning, Reporting and Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy. Reporting directly to the Finance, Estates and Commercial Services Director, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver insightful financial planning, accurate reporting, and proactive business partnering across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development and delivery of robust financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Overseeing the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to provide expert financial advice and drive performance improvements.
Driving efficiency and value for money through innovative financial solutions and data-driven insights.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About you
We are seeking an ambitious and accomplished financial leader with a passion for collaboration and strategic impact. You will bring:
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and significant post-qualification experience.
Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and business partnering in a complex organisation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities to inspire and develop your team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building successful stakeholder relationships.
