Our College of Science and Engineering is made up of the School of Science, School of Computing, School of Sport and Exercise Science, and School of Engineering. We are the University’s STEM College, in a city with a strong STEM heritage that hosts some of the world's leading STEM companies, and in a region with STEM at the centre of its economic growth plan.
Our School of Science is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Biomedical Science to contribute to the teaching and curriculum development in the discipline area of Biomedical Science and Forensic Science.

You will be expected to contribute to the module and programme delivery of Biomedical Science related topics such as cell biology, immunology, biochemistry etc, within the School of Science. With high professional standing and high standards, we would expect that you would not only provide an impetus for teaching and research in your specialist area, but also contribute to the team effort in delivering the programmes for which the whole discipline area is responsible.

We are looking for a candidate with relevant subject-specific qualifications and expertise, along with experience or knowledge of higher education. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using a variety of teaching techniques to inspire and engage students effectively.
