The University of Cambridge wishes to appoint a dynamic Project Manager to join the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre (WBIC) in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. The WBIC  is a world-class Major Research Facility (MRF) providing research imaging on its 3T MRI, 7T MRI, PET/MRI platforms, as well the provision of novel radiopharmaceuticals, for a strong community of clinical scientists based locally on the Biomedical Campus, across the University and elsewhere across the UK. 

The role holder will be joining at an exciting time in research imaging. They will manage the complex clinical research projects which are funded by multiple sources, including research grants, high-value donations for research and commercial clinical trial funding. The post-holder will assist the Department Business & Operations Deputy Manager in all MRF financial matters, including budget monitoring, forecasting and complex project management. Lead the project management activity to ensure timely delivery of multiple and often complex projects, which includes general oversight of support budgets (~£2m), contract monitoring, and liaising with relevant parties in the University, NHS, industry and external institutions. They will work closely with the WBIC management team and multi-disciplinary research teams to support a range of clinical research imaging studies and trials.
