We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Lecturer to support our Tourism and Hospitality programmes (specifically the BSc International Tourism and Hospitality Management Top up and FdA (Tourism & Events). As a Lecturer, you will be developing and delivering educational activities on the programme and teaching a variety of Tourism and Hospitality subjects. Alongside the Senior Lecturer/Programme Manager, you will also contribute to the shaping and promotion of teaching and related research and external engagement activities related to the Programme.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive and specific experience teaching in Higher Education, as well as subject specific experience in a wide range of Tourism and Hospitality subjects (please see the Role Profile for more details). You will need to be committed and able to provide a high-quality teaching and learning experience for all students. In addition, strong teamwork, collaboration, organisational skills are a must. Recent experience working in the tourism, hospitality or events sector would be considered valuable for this role.
