The role will be regionally based in the recruitment 'zone' of North Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Essex (these regions may change over time, as directed by University management). As such you must be based in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire or Berkshire. We will not be considering applications outside of these areas. You will be expected to spend one day a fortnight at the East Park Terrace Campus in Southampton.
The Senior Student Recruitment Officer (Regional) will be responsible for the successful delivery of student recruitment activities within their respective region. You will need to be a highly motivated individual with the ability to deliver an effective student recruitment strategy with a focus on key recruitment targets, and to raise the profile, brand and reputation of the University in that region. They will work with key stakeholders including careers advisors, teachers, and senior leaders to promote the University’s offer to schools, colleges, and students, and to attend targeted recruitment events in their region, and across the UK. This is a full-time permanent role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK Student Recruitment team at Solent University. The successful candidate will provide a pivotal role in ensuring the University meets its targets regarding high quality student recruitment, ensuring the financial sustainability of the University.
You will also be required to travel substantially throughout the UK attending large-scale recruitment events such as UCAS Discovery, UK University Search, and others. As such a full UK driver's licence is required.
