The Recruitment and Admissions Manager acts as a key point of contact for Executive MBA applicants in the EMEA region and plays an integral part in delivering a world class admissions experience. The post holder will manage our application system (Slate) to ensure that applications and enquiries are processed in a timely and professional manner and that admitted candidates are successfully enrolled on the program. The post holder is also responsible for event planning and logistics, and for cultivating relationships with prospective students. 

Please note that UK work authorization is required for this position. We expect the post holder to work in the office at least 4 days a week.  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide excellent customer service to potential candidates and applicants from the point of enquiry to enrolment.
  • Provide feedback on candidate profiles, respond to program inquiries and assign leads to other members of the team as appropriate.
  • Manage the admissions process - including enquiry handling, interview scheduling, document collection and decision communication with each applicant.
  • Help devise and manage an admitted student onboarding plan in conjunction with colleagues in London and globally, with the goal of improving yield.
  • Develop and maintain system processes and help manage data collection in Slate, in conjunction with global colleagues.
  • Manage the candidate verification process in liaison with our vendor and the global program teams.
  • Organize logistics for Executive MBA admissions events around the EMEA region and oversee registration management.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to connect with prospective students in an effort to recruit the highest caliber students to Chicago Booth’s Executive MBA program.
  • Help devise and execute activities designed to generate an overall increase in leads and applications, especially focused on email communications.
  • Assist with MBA recruitment events.  The post holder may be required to travel locally and internationally to attend various recruiting events. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:  

  1. United Kingdom work authorization is required.
  2. Ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  3. Experience in admissions, event management or customer service roles required. Experience in higher education admissions and recruitment preferred.
  4. Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  5. Ability to handle multiple detailed tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines required.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and diplomatically with colleagues as well as with students, faculty and corporate contacts.
  7. Professional demeanor, including tact, discretion, and a customer service-oriented approach required.
  8. Proficiency with using CRM databases preferred.  Knowledge of Technolutions ‘Slate’ a plus.
  9. Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends and to travel both domestically and internationally as necessary, is required.
  10. A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required.

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
