This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to join a dynamic team working on the ground-breaking Lancet Commission on Anti-Corruption in Health co-led by LSHTM and WHO. We seek to employ a team member with a relevant skillset and interest in anti-corruption in health systems, to help co-ordinate our team and liaise with high-level stakeholders, conduct rapid evidence syntheses, secondary data analyses, and contribute to writing the Commission report and journal papers.
The postholder will have a postgraduate degree and experience in health policy/ systems research, public health, or a related field. They will have a good knowledge of key issues in health policy and systems in diverse country settings (ideally low, middle and high-income), the role of politics in shaping health systems, and awareness of health sector corruption issues. The Research Fellow will have track record in conducting analytical reviews, working efficiently and independently, while collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and meeting tight deadlines. Experience of coordinating high-profile publications or projects to successful delivery, and writing academic outputs is key.
The post is part-time 21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE and fixed-term until 30 September 2025.
The post is funded by the by the World Health Organisation and is available immediately.
The salary will be on the Academic Pathway salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £44,847 - £50,808 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
