We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced health librarian to work at the University of Cambridge Medical Library.
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the library team at Medical Library as Liaison Librarian, delivering and developing services for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Reporting to the Head of Medical Library Services, you will work closely with the Liaison Librarian for School of Clinical Medicine and will manage a library assistant. You will also work very closely with multi-disciplinary NHS staff.
You will play an active part in delivering and developing services in literature searching, current awareness, information skills training, and more. You will creatively promote the library services by develop relationships with NHS colleagues and raising awareness through outreach activities.
This post would be suitable for someone with experience of working in an NHS or academic healthcare/medical library.
