We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the successful Careers and Employability team at the University of Brighton. If you want an opportunity to use your excellent customer service and information management skills this will be the ideal opportunity for you.

You will contribute to supporting students to engage with the Careers and Employability team at the university to help them with planning for their future once they leave university. You will provide the first line of contact with students, both on campus in the careers office and online through our enquiry management system. You will need to be friendly, welcoming and proactive to support students to find solutions to their enquiry.

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues to create and curate relevant careers and employability information and resources
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, and some experience of using digital media tools in order to feel confident using social media, blogs and intranet platforms
  • Ability to manage physical resources in our careers centres.
  • Experience of customer service and working in the higher education sector would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work as part of a team

The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and based on campus at our Moulsecoomb campus.
