We have an opportunity for a School Data Officer, an essential part of our team, enabling confident, data-driven decisions to improve experience for students by analysing and interpreting data from various sources and creating actionable insights that support delivery of key metrics and academic success.

As a School Data Officer you will:

  • Be the school’s reporting specialist with enthusiasm for data analytics and communication.
  • Create impactful reports and dashboards, responding to reporting needs and delivering presentations across the organisation.
  • Ensure data integrity, collaborating with academic and professional services staff.
  • Design simple in-house surveys and provide actionable insights to enhance student experience.

This opportunity is fixed-term contract 10th November 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Reports: Create regular reports, dashboards, and actionable management information to track compliance and achieve key metrics.
  • Data Management: Manipulate, analyse, and ensure the accuracy of data sets, supporting the workload balance system and maintaining data integrity.
  • Support Academic Assurance: Monitor, collect, and present data for academic assurance activities, including feedback deadlines and Virtual Learning Environment compliance.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Work with central teams and services to manage the delivery matrix and support student experience-focused activities.
  • Administrative and Analytical Support: Provide administrative support related to data analysis, aiding in business decisions and ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies.
