Specific Hours: 2 hours per week - evenings (currently Monday evenings 18:00-20:00)
Sessional Teacher of BSL (Community Learning)
The Opportunity
You’ll be available to deliver our non-accredited, introduction to BSL classes which take place on one evening per week at either our Roundhouse or Ilkeston Campus as required. Each course will run for 12 hours over 6 weeks, this will be subject to sufficient student numbers. You’ll be responsible for successfully planning and delivering lessons, ensuring, and monitoring progress of learners and entering learner data on our administrative systems.

About You
You’ll be confident in your Sign Language Skills and be qualified to at least L3 in BSL. You’ll be a person who has a passion for teaching BSL to adults and have excellent interpersonal skills. It is essential that you hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards) and have achieved a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English.
