About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead projects that deliver IT based solutions for our students and staff. You will be practical and committed to take a hands-on approach where needed.
The Project Management Office is seeking to appoint an IT Project Manager with specialist knowledge and experience of large business systems e.g. HR, Finance etc. This post will initially project manage the HR IS Transformation project.
With a Degree and/or equivalent professional current project management certification e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, APMG, PMP you will have a sound knowledge of IT and emerging technologies, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and experience working in large organisations managing change. You will also have previous experience in managing and delivering complex technical ideas to both a technical and non-technical audience, and experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall project management approaches, tailoring as needed.
