Study Group Digital Learning are proud to be delivering an innovative online program for ambitious high-school students in the Middle East. 

The program is a part-time, digital course which is designed to provide students in their final years of high school with a comprehensive grounding in the subject knowledge, study skills and insights they need to make a successful undergraduate university application. The program will be delivered through timetabled synchronous lectures, seminars and tutorials as well as through the provision of engaging asynchronous activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the selected Program digital learning tools and platforms to ensure quality online learning, teaching, and assessment
  • Ensure best practice in all digital tool and platform usage including ensuring to Study Group best practice e,g VLE Framework policy
  • Oversee the effective technical operation of the Program modules to achieve Program key performance indicators
  • Contribute to Program reports, analysis, evaluation and  implement any required enhancements. 
  • Gather and report feedback from Program team or learners for action 
  • Collaborate with the Program leadership team to develop innovative learning methods and resources which have meaningful impact on student engagement and performance.
  • Create and deliver induction training for Program team and learners for optimal digital learning tool usage
  • Identify Program team and learner training needs throughout delivery.
  • Deliver training and coaching as needed to Program team and students.
  • Ensure all training is implemented with maximum impact and evidence this through participant feedback
  • Observe and provide feedback to Program staff to enable them to move to be more effective digital practitioners.
  • Work with relevant managers to ensure tutors meet all minimum expectations/compliance in their duties and provide feedback on their performance.
  • Contribute to delivering the modules or tutorials effectively and efficiently, including teaching up to 15 hours per week or delivering an equivalent time in coaching, training or intervention sessions.
  • Work closely with the Program team to ensure that students at risk are being provided with appropriate support and, where required, timely intervention.
  • Contribute to the delivery and assessment of provision.
  • Support a cost-conscious working environment, at the same time as delivering a quality service and experience to students you are responsible for.
  • Contribute to ensuring that the Centres are compliant in relation to Safeguarding responsibilities and that staff in the Program are aware of their obligations and requirements.

About you

  • Undergraduate and or postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Teaching qualification
  • CMALT (Certified Membership of the Association for Learning Technology) or similar learning technology recognition (Desirable)
  • Teaching experience within Secondary, further or higher education
  • Experience leading and delivering modules through project-based learning or a similar teaching method
  • Experience of organizing and facilitating
  • Some experience of providing leadership with evidence of success.
  • Experience of providing feedback to another person about their performance, which achieved a positive improvement.
  • Ability to delegate activities, set deadlines and take responsibility for overseeing their successful completion to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Experience of working with international students with a knowledge of their needs.
  • Experience of data management and interpretation, and quality assurance.
  • Experience of leading, advising or supporting others to develop curricula.
  • Experience of working online including delivering online lessons with different digital learning tools and platforms.
