About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Imperial College Business School Executive Education team for a Project Manager to facilitate the successful definition and delivery of all activities required to make a success of the Apprenticeship Levy portfolio.  The Postholder will work closely with the Levy Providers and will build, maintain and manage relationships with and between external service providers and internal stakeholders. They will successfully launch and deliver a portfolio of Apprenticeship Levy masterclasses, across several Apprenticeship Levy programmes and launch and deliver other non-Levy programmes.  If you are an accomplished project manager and are looking for an opportunity to truly make your mark owning a high-profile project a world class organisation, this is it!

What you would be doing

  • Manage internal capacity, project tasks and deadlines through rigorous resource planning.
  • Build efficient processes and work to operationalise these
  • Build and manage relationships with strategic partner, along with all related cross functional internal operations and faculty.
  • Manage financial forecasting for the Levy and all internal project costs and report on costs and revenue to senior leadership team
  • Work with QA teams to ensure and maintain the high standards requisite with the Imperial brand.

What we are looking for

  • Significant project management experience, preferably as an ‘intrapreneur’ start-up environment.
  • High levels of commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and detail oriented.
  • Confident problem solver and able to make considered decisions quickly.
  • Sophisticated relationship builder and the ability to manage and motivate internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multiple projects at once, able to build clarity and structure in an ambiguous environment.
  • An understanding of or experience working within learning & development, training, education or allied field.
  • Commercial acumen, financial management and reporting skills and managing multiple project budgets.
