About the Role
As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support within a dynamic office environment, particularly within the context of HE or similarly complex organisations. Your role will encompass a diverse tasks, including but not limited to human resources administration, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding processes, as well as ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Your proficiency with databases and spreadsheets will be instrumental in managing our operations.
Your expertise in note-taking, meeting servicing, and event management assistance will contribute to the smooth functioning of our organisation. You will be relied upon for your ability to work independently, utilising your initiative to plan and prioritise tasks effectively, while also collaborating seamlessly with colleagues to achieve our collective objectives.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project
This post is within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, a large School with 108 academics, over 250 PhD Students and over 2600 taught students. The School is supported by an administrative team and technical staff of approximately 55. The staff and student body are international in make-up.
