Practical Assessment
Weekend following interview
University Of Nottingham Sport is currently undergoing an ambitious change and investment programme to support our vision to deliver an outstanding student sporting experience. As part pf this programme, an opportunity exists for two permanent, part-time, Climbing Wall Assistants to join our climbing wall team at the David Ross Sports Village.
Roles and responsibilities will include supervising adults and children during climbing wall sessions, including the NCAS Academy sessions.
Candidates should have a Climbing Instructor Award, or be close to assessment in the scheme. Previous experience of working with the NICAS Scheme is essential. Excellent communication and customer care skills are also essential.
Recruitment will be a two-stage process. The initial interview will be followed by a practical assessment (delivery of two 60 min lessons).

Post 1: This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part-time (7.25 hours per week), based at the David Ross Sports Village. Saturday 7:30-3.45
Post 2: This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part-time (7.25 hours per week), based at the David Ross Sports Village. Sunday 7:30-3.45
