The RNCM is seeking to recruit a part time brass tutor to deliver an RNCM Engage Brass Programme in schools in West Cumbria.
The ideal candidate will be located in West Cumbria. We invite applications from those new to teaching, as full training can be provided, as well as those returning to teaching and experienced teachers.
Training and mentorship will be provided as appropriate to experience and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for an RNCM Engage West Cumbria full fees scholarship for the RNCM Master of Education programme.
Part of the RNCM Engage West Cumbria project, the work will involve up to 8 hours per week, for 20 weeks in the first instance, ideally starting in January 2025. Planned in collaboration with the Head of RNCM Engage West Cumbria, the weekly programme will be enhanced through team teaching with a member of RNCM staff at regular points and occasional visits from RNCM students.
