The Surrey Research Park at the University of Surrey is seeking a dedicated parking patrol officer to join our facilities Management team.
The Universityhas a large, mainly Freehold, Estate in Guildford of more than 300 buildings, comprising approximately 382,000 m2 and 395 hectares, focused on two Campuses on either side of the A3. Our campus is a beautiful, leafy environment with carefully designed gardens, vibrant green playing fields, and a picturesque lake. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining order and efficiency within the tenant areas of Surrey Research Park by ensuring compliance with parking regulations. This role involves conducting regular patrols, issuing parking tickets for incorrectly or illegally parked vehicles, and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanour when interacting with tenants.
Additionally, the Parking Patrol Officer will monitor and report any hazards or issues, and coordinate with hard FM (Facilities Management) tasks to uphold the quality and safety of the park. The role includes being a backup shuttle driver for the park and responsibility for locking up at Surrey Technology Centre.
