We are looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join Lori Passmore’s group to study biogenesis of mRNA poly(A) tails. This work will build on recent advances in reconstituting the yeast and human machineries, and on recent cryoEM structures from the group.
We are looking for enthusiastic scientists with a desire to work on challenging and rewarding projects as part of a friendly and supportive team. This position will investigate the cellular roles of RNA binding proteins including polyA binding proteins. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant or are due to complete within 6 months and expertise in high throughput sequencing methodologies.
This is a three-year training and development position suitable for you if you have recently completed your doctoral studies, or you are looking to move into a new research discipline and/or need to further develop your research skills. Working with our world class scientists you will be working in an Institute renowned for its excellent scientific facilities and high-quality research.
