The Department of Life Sciences are looking for a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Professor K. Ravi Acharya to work on a project supported by the BBSRC studying the molecular mechanisms of Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and its homologues.
This is a full-time, fixed term role, expected to last for 14 months.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out most technical steps of the project including protein expression (using bacterial, yeast, insect and mammalian systems), purification and molecular biological techniques and structural biology aspects employed in Professor Ravi Acharya’s laboratory.
