About The Role

Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2025

Hours: 21 hours per week

Applicants are invited to work on a project to create materials and resources for Mathematics teachers in Wales. The project is funded by the Welsh Government. The role is part of the Mathematics Support Programme Wales, a project funded by the Welsh Government. The Senior Practitioner, will develop relationships and work with primary and secondary schools and teachers pan Wales. They will create and deliver resources and materials for a series of Professional Learning sessions for teachers.

The Senior Practitioner, will lead in creating, setting up and delivering a series of workshops for Professional Learning for teachers to meet funders objectives and outcomes. The workshops should be high quality, impact led and informed by research evidenced practice. The Senior Practitioner will also be required to ensure all necessary funder documentation is completed for the project. The role also includes developing relationships and working with primary and secondary schools and teachers pan Wales. The Senior practitioner will contribute to regular funder reports and to the final analysis in the evaluation strategy. The post holder would be employed through the professional services pathway for Swansea University.
