The role
Health Economics and Health Policy at Bristol (HEHP@Bristol) undertakes research and teaching on health economics and policy and is part of the Bristol Medical School, a leading centre for collaborative and multi-disciplinary research in population and translational health sciences. Our highly-rated research is conducted across five themes: Economic Evaluation and Trials (EconEval), Health Policy (Policy), Modelling (HEMBUG), Routine Datasets and Econometrics (BRIDGE), and Capability, Health and Wellbeing Outcomes (Outcomes).
We wish to appoint a highly talented health economist to cover a period of maternity leave (0.8FTE), contributing to both research and teaching. The successful candidate will cover existing research but will also have the opportunity to develop their own research area. They will take a leadership role on a unit within the MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy Analysis, conduct teaching, manage early career researchers, supervise doctoral students and be involved in leadership and management activities.
