About the role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and Department of Respiratory Sciences. You will support funded research into novel diagnostics for breathing pattern disorder.
Your responsibilities will include recruiting participants for clinical studies, testing novel diagnostic technologies and conducting complex analysis of breathing pattern data. Additionally, you will support in the preparation of grant applications and academic papers.
This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in clinical research and data science.
About you
The candidate must have relevant research experience in a relevant discipline (such as exercise physiology or biomechanics) and prior experience of statistical analysis methodology. Experience conducting clinical studies is beneficial but not essential.
