Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Large Animal Surgery within UCD School of Veterinary Medicine.
The School of Veterinary Medicine, University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary Lecturer Assistant Professor in Large Animal Surgery. The duration of the appointment is 36 months.
The candidate will join a team of 3 other Large Animal Surgeons (1 full-time and 2 part-time) and 2 Doctoral Students (ECVS residents) within the Section of Equine Clinical Studies, Diagnostic Imaging and Anaesthesia and the UCD Veterinary Hospital. The successful candidate will work as part of a large multidisciplinary team in the large animal /equine clinic.
The successful candidate’s role will involve primarily clinical service teaching and administration, with opportunities and support to pursue research. Lecture delivery on-clinic groups and one-to-one teaching of undergraduate and graduate veterinary practitioners (MVB) and veterinary nursing (BSc) form a key component of the role.
