Here at the University of Salford, we put people at the heart of supporting our students to be their best. Our People plan upholds 3 core goals of Wellbeing, Diversity and Performance and we are committed to creating an environment where all colleagues can shine no matter what their background, specialist skills or role within the organisation.

This is an exciting role bringing the key areas of reward and wellbeing together. You will report to and work with the Associate Director, People Strategy on the development and delivery of all pay, reward, benefits, and wellbeing strategies to enable the University to achieve its vision and strategy. These strategies will allow us to create an environment of diversity and inclusiveness, enabling accessibility and equality of approach for all colleagues, throughout their time at the University of Salford whilst ensuring the University is able to deliver on its commitment of affordability by delivering value for money for our students.

You will ensure that our approach promotes the Salford Behaviours and prepares the University and its leaders for the current and future approaches needed to underpin the success of the organisation. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about playing an active role in leading the evolution of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to enhance our employer brand and will have experience of embedding effective system based reward methodologies. We want you to be part of leading the creation of innovative and exciting approaches and messages that reflect the University of Salford, enabling us to attract and retain top talent. We are looking for enthusiasm and innovation, whilst supporting your colleagues to realise their own potential.

We want our recruitment to reflect the diversity in our campus and as such, welcome applications from candidates who might need to work flexibly or on a part time basis.

Applicants should register their interest and submit a cv to nick.allwood@redgreenpartners.co.uk  by 15 December 2024.

  • To help you, we have wide ranging colleague support networks, promoting awareness events throughout the year and giving you the opportunity to share your experiences with others. • There is a varied benefits package available through ‘MySalford’ where you can tailor your benefits to suit your own lifestyle – everything from additional annual leave, savings on High Street shopping, travel discounts as well as health and wellbeing support. With a commitment to agile working, you can connect to work from wherever you are - our blended approach means we have the flexibility to work from home, with the expectation of time on campus when required.
