Bangor University School of Health Sciences is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring clinical Physiotherapist to join our team. Candidates will have current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. The School would particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers.

This post is available part time, 0.4 FTE, on our teaching and scholarship career track. Which means you will be entitled to access our postgraduate certificate in education as part of your development. Here at the School of Health Sciences, we value the partnership we have with students and prioritise support and encouragement for all our students across their differing programmes. The School offers a welcoming context for those who are less experienced in teaching to develop their potential. The successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to teaching and learning across the School’s portfolio, including in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Our mission is to mobilise its expertise and experience to generate new solutions to health and care challenges. We do this by leading health care research, scholarship, teaching and learning that is of the highest possible standard, quality and value to service users, practitioners and stakeholders. We aim to be an international example of best practice in partnership-working with students, professionals, health and social care services, and policy makers. We pay attention to demonstrating the links between our research and teaching activities, and in providing our students with excellent learning experiences that equip them with the ability to succeed in their professional careers. Bangor University was the only University in Wales to be awarded a GOLD standard in the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
