About our role: As Partnership Development Director you will be working closely with our Chief Commercial Officer and Exec Leaders to build and develop new partnerships, agreements and opportunities with UK Universities.

QA Higher Education is seeking to expand the number of UK Universities we work with and identify opportunities for growth from international pathway colleges to branch campuses, to online programmes or new models of university partnership.
Our role is highly focused on new revenue, opportunities and relationships with university partners.

You’ll have a varied workload, here’s is a flavour of what’s involved:

  • Representing QAHE at partner meetings.
  • Owning, delivering and being accountable for the management and closure of university partnership contracts,
  • Recording, presenting and updating data and opportunities to the Executive team, and potentially investors,
  • Operating the Partnerships Committee in QAHE
  • Monitoring, project managing, writing, compiling and submitting tenders for new university agreements and contracts
  • Develop opportunities to work with new university partners.
  • Compile pitches and presentations and professionalise QAHE’s approach to pitching for new university work.
  • Develop a pipeline of commercial opportunities to work with UK Universities.
  • Ensure that agreed contracts and opportunities are consulted with internal teams, particularly international recruitment, admissions and marketing to ensure they are shaped correctly.
  • Ensure that new opportunities are operable and deliverable, engaging teams post contract stage to successful, engaged and complete contracts.

You may be from a higher education marketing or sales or business development background or in fact any other area, what’s important is your ability to consistently produce high-quality tender and proposal materials, be highly organised, solutions orientated, deadline focused and collaborative.

Bring your experience:

  • Demonstrable tender and business development success in the Higher education/university partnership space, including winning and securing tenders and opportunities with UK Universities.
  • Experience and demonstrated success in both public and private sector tender processes
  • Experience working with Universities and HEI’s
  • Knowledge of standard procurement requirements and processes across public and private sectors (e.g., framework agreements, dynamic purchasing systems, procurement portals, etc.)
  • Knowledge of higher education sector – major offerings, competitors, etc.
