The post holder will work as a Research Assistant on the Government of Ireland-funded cross-border research initiative (the Centre for Economics, Policy and History). A key component of the post is to support and undertake research in all areas of economic history.
About the person:
Candidates must demonstrate excellent knowledge of data management, Excel, statistics, and statistical packages. Candidates with economics, history, finance or statistics backgrounds are particularly welcome. The successful applicant will have prior experience of data entry, data cleaning, and data processing. You will undertake various research tasks during the project with the support of the project’s principal investigators.

These posts are available for 12 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
