About the role:

Come and join the dynamic Undaunted team based in the Grantham Institute at Imperial College London – one of the largest teams in Europe dedicated specifically to growing and supporting climate innovations.  The Greenhouse Programme Manager will focus on the day-to-day operations of The Greenhouse which is one of the top climate innovation startup accelerators in Europe.  Working with the Head of the Greenhouse and colleagues from the wider Undaunted team, the Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful functioning of all aspects of the highly successful climate innovation startup accelerator programme. 

What you would be doing:

Working closely with the Head of the Greenhouse, you will organise and arrange the scheduling for the programme, including workshops, webinars, masterclasses, clinics, coaching sessions, and other innovation activities. You will also support the Head of the Greenhouse in running essential Greenhouse activities, including the recruitment/selection process, events, mentoring, bootcamps, education services, grant funding, incubation and in-depth business strategy support services. This role provides in-depth exposure and engagement with a wide range of exciting and innovative startups looking to tackle climate change.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree level in cleantech relevant science / social sciences
  • Significant work experience in relevant fields such as innovation, sustainability and climate change
  • Good programme and project management skills, ideally with experience of managing a range of diverse projects
  • Demonstrate success working in an early-stage Accelerator, Venture Portfolio or Corporate Venturing initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrable interest in start-ups and climate change more broadly
  • Experience of working in fast-moving environments, demonstrating an ability to solve problems and work independently
