About the Role:
We are looking for a Lecturer in Music to join us at Tresham College. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels
Undertaking course administration as necessary.
Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
Managing students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience.
Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
About you:
Degree level qualification in Music or Sound related subject
English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
Professional Experience of working in the music industry
Recent experience as a teacher, trainer or instructor
Professional competency on one or more instrument
Experience of working constructively to achieve team objectives and deadlines
Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writing
Responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns.
