Low Intensity CBT Programmes, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences

The Department of Psychology at the University of Southampton is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow with expertise in Low Intensity CBT for mild to moderate Depression and Anxiety Disorders and education approaches, to join our Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme team. 

You will have a relevant qualification in low intensity CBT (e.g. EMHP, CWP, PWP) with experience of delivering low intensity CBT to children and young people with anxiety and depression.

You will join our respected EMHP team, which is committed to excellent training and ensuring our students are competent and confident to deliver low intensity CBT for children and young people.  The role involves teaching on the EMHP Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) courseobserving and assessing our students as well as providing pastoral support. From time to time, you may also be involved in the wider clinical programmes, such as the Supervisor training (PG Cert in Advanced Supervision), SWP (PG Dip in advanced clinical practice and supervision) and our PWP (PG Cert).

You will have a proven track record in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level and a detailed understanding of knowledge of CBT.

The part-time (0.2FTE) post is available from February 2025.  

The salary is negotiable, depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
